What should I do if I want to pick up my child? Please send a note in with your child in the morning or send an email manattendance@carrollk12.org.
If your child is leaving early, you will need to come to the office to sign your child out. Please bring your ID with you.
If you are picking up your child at the end of the school day, you will report to the outside gym entrance. You will need to show your ID and sign your child out at the gym. It is always best if you send a note with your child when they are going to be picked up and please let us know who will be coming to pick them up. We will not release a child to anyone other than the parent/guardian without permission from the parent/guardian.
What do I do if my child is absent? A note from the parent/guardian explaining a student’s absence is required within 5 school days whenever a student is absent from school. Absences due to sickness that exceeds two days will need a doctor's note. Parents can send a note when their child returns to school, use the link on the school website homepage, send an email to manattendance@carrollk12.org, or fax the school at 410-374-4505.
How do I get homework for my child when they are absent? Email your student's teacher directly.
What time does school dismiss on an Early Dismissal day? Manchester Elementary dismisses at 1:00pm on scheduled early dismissal days.
